Course Overview
This course is completely unique to The White Orchid Training Academy and is designed to equip you with skills you will not find in other training facilities. The course is comprised from a selection of ITEC Beauty and Spa Therapy modules. In addition you will be trained in a selection of the main salon treatments not normally included in this type of course (see core curriculum). Your training will also include work experience in our salon and spa environment. This will give you a real advantage over your peers in securing employment in any Salon Spa or Cruise ship at home or abroad.

Beauty & Massage Modules:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Skin & Eye Treatments
- Facials, Skin analysis, eyebrow shaping and tinting
- Make Up
- Day, Night and special occasions
- Manicure / Pedicure
- Includes hot oil and paraffin wax treatments
- Professional Conduct and Business Awareness
- Ethics, hygiene, confidentiality, first aid, sterilisation & sanitisation & business awareness, health and safety
- Waxing (strip, hot & cold wax)
- Legs, arms, bikini, lip and chin
- Bleaching
- Face and body
- Body Massage
- Swedish massage (full body)

- Anatomy and Physiology
- Body exfoliation
- Body masks
- Seaweed treatments
- Body wraps
- Hot stones
- First aid and ethics
- Hot compress
- Steam and sauna
- Hydrotherapy
Entry Requirements
No previous qualifications required. Candidates must be over 16 years of age to enrol.
