Course Overview

The foundation course for complementary therapy. The course provides students with a thorough understanding of Anatomy and Physiology of the body so that they have a complete knowledge of the structure and functions of each area on which they are working. The course includes Holistic Massage incorporating the classical movements treating the whole body.

Entry Requirements

No previous qualifications required. Candidates must be over 16 years of age to enrol.

Candidates already with ITEC Anatomy & Physiology Qualifications can Pre-requisite – Candidates must hold the ITEC Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology (can be taken concurrently with this unit) or the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Body Treatments or equivalent Unit 22 Professional Conduct and Business Awareness is also mandatory.

Accreditation

ITEC Level 3 (International) Diploma in Holistic Massage (UK Accreditation: QAN 100/2404/9).

Career Opportunities

Internationally qualified Holistic Masseuse eligible to work in a spa, salon or clinical environment.
